Disruptions due to strikes in France

23. mars

Dear colleagues, customers, and business partners,

As you are all probably aware, there have been massive protests in France in recent weeks. The protests are based on domestic political reasons, because the French government has announced plans to raise the national pension age from 62 to 64 years.

The political reasons do not basically have much to do with the transport and logistics industry, but because French workers in the industry strike, it will unfortunately still have an impact on our business. This applies to both road, rail and air.

From LEMAN's side, we of course work intensively to reduce the negative consequences for our customers and business partners, and we try to run our operations as smoothly as possible along the way.

It is limited what we can say about the extent of the situation or the prospects for improvement, but the customers' usual contacts at LEMAN are of course available to update and inform as best as possible.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience this is causing our customers, and we hope that the disagreements in France will be resolved soon.
