Interim Group CEO of LEMAN

After 7 years as CEO of the LEMAN Group, Mr. Thomas Krøyer has decided to leave the company to pursue new endeavors.

Over the years, Thomas Krøyer has transformed and optimized the LEMAN organization by creating a real management structure, developing LEMAN in a number of areas, and introduced ”oneLEMAN” all over the Group. At the same time, he has conducted and executed several mergers and acquisitions and has been at the origin of an international expansion in China. In addition to this, he has placed LEMAN on the map for vertical products such as Pharma.

”We thank Thomas for all these initiatives which have helped LEMAN developing new business opportunities and increased our presence in the global market,” says Philippe Ziegler, chairman of the Board at LEMAN and continues: ”At the same time, we are very pleased to announce that Mr. Ole Ringheim, member of the LEMAN Board of Directors, has accepted the interim role of Group CEO until the hiring and appointment of a permanent CEO has been conducted.”

Extensive experience from the business

The interim Group CEO, Ole Ringheim has extensive experience in freight forwarding and leadership from his time as CEO for DHL in the Nordics and Asia. In addition to this, Ole Ringheim has been a member of the LEMAN Board of Directors since September 2019 and has an in-depth knowledge of the company. Ole Ringheim will be joining the company on 1st June 2021, so he and Thomas Krøyer together can ensure a smooth handover.

LEMAN remains optimistic about the future and will continue to create long-term growth through sustainable development and by delivering high-quality services.
