Tractors are set to block roads and borders starting from today, Monday, January 8, in response to a substantial increase in the German road toll implemented on December 1, 2023.
Unfortunately, this blockade extends to our vehicles, causing inevitable delays. Presently, there is uncertainty regarding when these blockades are expected to be lifted.
In a show of solidarity, it is anticipated that Holland may also take similar actions.
The new year commences with an immediate challenge, the full extent of which we are presently unable to foresee. On January 8th, the German Farmers’ Association has called for extensive demonstrations, leading to anticipated significant disruptions and road blockages across Germany.
